01 — WHY I PAINT

I paint the hidden architecture of choice — what the mind builds, what it erases, and the quiet red thread that ties a coffee cup to a memory of the sea.

Born in Armenia, based in Germany. A Master’s degree in behavioural economics and game theory taught me to decode how humans navigate complex scenarios; ink and charcoal let me draw what the equations cannot say.

In an age where AI can dream a thousand images in a minute, I choose the meticulous discipline of crafting by hand. Each surface is a liminal threshold where abstract thought codifies into graphic form.

02 — CURRENT INITIATIVE

ART BARTER COFFEE TOUR SUMMER 2026 · 13 CITIES · 0 EUROS

A hand-made rebellion. I travel across Europe to trade artworks for a physical piece of your creative world — over a cup of coffee. No money. No algorithm. Just two humans and their hands.

A

Art

I bring an artwork for you. You bring one in exchange — drawing, ceramics, a poem, embroidery. Whatever you make.

B

Barter

We exchange our handcrafted pieces. No money is involved — a non-transactional experiment between creatives.

C

Coffee

We get to know each other for 30–60 minutes in a local café. Maybe we create something new together alongside.

The beauty of mind

A selection across fifteen years — graphite, Indian ink, acrylic, charcoal. Some still in the studio, some living on the walls of strangers who became friends.

THE ARTIST, MID-NEGOTIATION WITH THE MUSE

06 — ABOUT

Behavioural economist by degree, archaeologist of the psyche by practice

My first love was Dalí’s Persistence of Memory. Then came Bosch, Magritte, Podpomogov, Dürer’s gravures and the meditative inking of Alena Olasyuk and Roberta Boffo — images that can only be born inside a mind. Later, Chiharu Shiota’s webs of thread and Doris Salcedo’s topology of mourning taught me that memory has a spatial body.

My practice operates as an archaeological excavation of the human psyche — of fleeting moments, of everyday small decisions. Game theory gives me the rigor; ink gives me the honesty. I treat each composition as a visual matrix of the mind, asking where the boundaries of the self truly end and the influence of the external world begins.

“The surface of the paper is a liminal threshold where abstract thoughts codify into graphic forms.”
